APPLYING FOR ADMISSION  

  • Parents are asked to make a pre-application visit to review Boys & Girls Club policies, tour the facilities and evaluate the environment and staff. 

  • A parent or guardian must complete application for membership.

  • A parent or guardian and child must attend a new member orientation.

  • Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

  • Enrollment is open to all children ages 6-18. Boys & Girls Clubs do not discriminate regardless of race, creed, religion or national origin.

             GUEST POLICY 

A member may bring guests. Each guest may visit three times during the year and sign our visitor’s sheet. Once a child or teen has been a guest, he/she may become a member on their next visit. Guests may not attend field trips.

 

 SNOW DAYS

In the event of hazardous weather conditions, please call the Club for a recorded message regarding the operating hours of the club. Transportation will not be provided on days that the school system closes early due to inclement weather.

                                                                                             


Tamara Peay, Unit Director

Tamara Peay joined the Boys & Girls Club movement in December of 2006 as the Unit Director of the  Fairview Unit, which opened in 2007. Tamara is a graduate of Fairview High School and attended Draughons Jr. College.  Employed for 10 years with First America Bank as an Item Capture Specialist, she changed professions to be an Operations Manager/Account Executive for some major airfreight companies. With the birth of her third child, she became a stay-at-home mom and an AVON representative, which she has been for about 10 years.  Prior to coming to Boys & Girls Clubs, Tamara worked with youth in the YMCA programs. Tamara, a native of Fairview,  enjoys football, hockey, karaoke and traveling with her husband Scott and her children James, Brandon and Alyssa.
