$100 buys a steak dinner for you and a burger dinner for a Club member. $65 of  the ticket price is tax deductible. Table sponsorships are $1000 and are for tables of ten.

The "Steak & Burger Dinner" is an annual fundraising dinner that provides the opportunity for Boys & Girls Club members to have dinner with corporate sponsors and community leaders. While the event is a fundraiser, it is designed to honor our members, and to bring the supporters of the Club in direct contact with the members that benefit from their generosity. At the first dinner Club members dined on "Steak' while adults dined on "Burgers".  Many years later in keeping with tradition, there are Club members who will trade with an adult their "Burger" for a "Steak".

The Boys & Girls Club of Franklin/Williamson County, was opened in 1989 as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee initiated its second major expansion since inception in 1903.

The Boys & Girls Club of Franklin/Williamson County began with only two staff members and a membership of 30 kids per day.   At that time, the club operated for youth only, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, for four hours per day. The club was located in the old Franklin High School Building at 1116 Columbia Avenue.  Not only has youth participation and the staff grown, but thanks to the Williamson County Government in the year 2000 the club moved into the newly constructed Community Services Building at 129 West Fowlkes Street.

In the year 2001, teen services were expanded with the opening of the Franklin Teen Learning Center.  Funds provided by Nascar Legend,  Darrell Waltrip, and the Met Life Foundation made this possible.  The Franklin Teen Learning Center was opened below the Optimist Club gymnasium at 1116 Columbia Avenue in November of 2001. The Teens are now housed at the Fowlkes Street location.

In January 2007, services were expanded to Fairview in a collaboration with Fairview Taekwondo. Fall 2007, the Fairview Boys & Girls Club was officially chartered as a stand alone club by Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The Fairview Club is now housed in the Berean Free Will Baptist Church.

The Boys & Girls Club of Franklin/Williamson County and Fairview Boys & Girls Club are members of Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee.

The continued support of Williamson County United Way, local city and county government and the residents of Williamson County have truly developed the Williamson County Club locations.  The consistent involvement of the community helps make the club programs available to over 500 Williamson County youth annually.
